Cut and collage - creative printmaking

The beauty of this process lies in its simplicity. Line drawings on card will be turned into simple collages and inked with a roller. Black and white prints look stunning but there is also the option to work with colour. Because the process is quick, participants should be able to produce two or three printing plates and lots of prints! Depending on the interests of the group we could use the nearby Clwydian hills for our subject matter, or select from my collection of natural and man-made objects; alternatively, bring along some imagery of your own—photographs, drawings or objects. No previous printmaking experience necessary.
