One of the visitors to my studio during Helfa Gelf last year has commissioned me to make a piece of work for her on the theme of rooks, the subject of her PhD. On the wall she saw the pieces using impressions from feathers on fine Japanese paper and was particularly taken with the one of birds in flight. Today she collected the work and I’m happy to say she was very pleased with it!
